The concept is good, and I do understand that it is a portable and meant for easy travel. I just wish the pump had a bit more power. I enjoy the highest level, just wish it was a little more quiet.
Overall, I'm pleased with the product. It does the main job of what I hoped it would do and I don't regret buying it. The additional attachment that you clamp on to the main piece at the front of the toilet bowl to elevate the toilet seat wasn't too sturdy and broke only on the second day. Also, I would like to see future iterations of the product have a more reliable way to cling to the toilet bowl, as the sticky film is a bit delicate.
All in all, a happy customer!
I just fininshed trying this Bidet. Understanding that we have a bidet at home....and happily use it daily, perhaps I was expecting too much from this portable, but it is not the system for me. It seems that a handheld bidet would be more effective as it would better facilitate the DIRECTION of the flow and perhaps the strength of the stream as well.
So first, this is exactly what was I have been praying for, for literally years, to possibly make my life easier when I travel. Unfortunately the power is just not strong enough for my specific needs. I deal with fissures and constipation so I use it a bidet more like an enema to ensure stool doesn't injure my fissure. If you are able to make the strength of the motor 2 or 3 times more powerful then this would be the lifesaver I have been searching for.
This re after installing it the lever moved smoother than it when the product was brand new it was always really h , and after using it about five or six times i am disappointed that I had to buy another on this new handle is awesome.
Perfect for traveling…especially after being spoiled by a bidet seat at home…good power and easy to assemble on the go!
Hi Robert, Thank you for the review. We really appreciate you sharing your experience.
This has worked out well for my elderly father who lives in a senior center that was hesitant to have traditional bidets installed due to concerns of flooding.
Thanks for sharing your use case and experience. I am glad to hear your father is able to use our bidet in the senior center.
I loved the passion in the advertising of this travel bidet but in practice, it is not the miracle they say it is.
The pressure is not too strong and doesn't get things done.
Also, for you men, the armature kinda hits "things" when you move it.
Thank you for your feedback—we really appreciate you giving the Traveler a try.
We’re sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations. The Traveler is designed to offer stronger, more consistent pressure than typical portable bidets and a similar experience to an electric home bidet, but we understand that preferences and experiences can vary. We'd love to connect to understand what wand you are using and we are assuming you are using pressure setting 4?
We also appreciate the note on the wand positioning—feedback like this is incredibly helpful as we continue to refine our designs.
If you’re open to it, we’d love to connect directly and see if we can help improve your experience or find a better solution for you.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
I love my PortaBidet. I couldn’t imagine using some kind of squirt bottle, and I hate holding it till I get home from trips/dealing with just toilet payor moist wipes. This compact and fairly simple product is a welcome addition to my regular travel carry. It even fits in the tiny frunk of my EV, where nothing else seems to fit, so we can take it everywhere. I even plan on paint for our anniversary trip to Hawaii.
I was especially then I found that the high stream pressure setting matched my home bidet seat, and the regular reservoir was large enough to handle thorough high pressure use with water left over. This is a very good product that I recommend to family, friends, and patients.
We are sorry it arrived damaged. We sent out a replacement order for you.
Works good and hits the right spot but needs more power to clean completely
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for The Traveler Bidet. We're glad to hear that it works well for you and hits the right spot. We appreciate your feedback about the power. What wand are you using and please make sure you are turning it up to level 4. We don't often hear that it needs more power! Its a pretty powerful stream. ;)
Works well as intended and the size is perfect for our RV!

Hi there! Thank you for the wonderful review. We're so glad to hear that The Traveler Bidet has been a blessing for your travels and cruise experiences. Happy travels! - The Portabidets Team
The team at Portabidets has improved my travel life so much. I'm so grateful! For the past 30 years, I've had to schedule my travel around hotel maintenance staff schedules to have them attach larger bidets. This device has has given me the freedom to attach it myself. I tested it while traveling across the USA via train over 30 days stopping at a new town/hotel each day. It was not perfect but really, really good. Unfortunately, I lost the carrying bag on the last day of the trip and just had to buy a replacement. Customer chat service was wonderful and got me a couple of extra parts I needed. Here are a few ideas/suggestions for the inventors and other users: 1) Don't flush until you're done. I had two hotel toilets stop up and I had to wait until it drained to use the spray. 2) Definitely order the extra water bags. The smaller water container lasts about 45 seconds on full spray and refilling it is a process. 3) It sprays straight up where other bidets spray at an angle. I felt cleaner on my lower areas but had trouble moving to get the spray further up my backside. Maybe another angled wand could be created? 4) The wand separates into 3 pieces for easy transport but require strength to push/pull apart. I had to carry it in a cooler bag fully assembled. I'd recommend a carrying kit or creating a connection model for the wands that doesn't require strength. 5) I agree with other reviewers that the piece of plastic to cover the sticky part of the device is difficult to keep clean and not lose. Make sure you dry off the sticky part before putting the plastic cover on it for transport. Also, dry out the water container before putting the battery-powered component in it for transport/storage. --- Finally, I'm so grateful for your team inventing this device. I'll be a customer for life!

First and foremost, it is the best portable bidet I have used. There is a "learning curve" involved. Because of wand track that must be inserted at the front of the bowl, of necessity, there is more space between the bowl rim and the underside of the toilet seat. I have been used to a real/separate stand alone bidet and the resulting strong stream of water. When I first used your product: 1. I didn't have the "wand" attachment correctly placed; 2. I assumed the strongest flow needed to be selected: and, 3. I was using the "seat riser" putting more space between the underside of the seat and the rim of the toilet bowl. Result: the stream of water hit the flat surface of a buttock...with the result that water splashed all over the outer rim of the toilet...the tank wall behind the toilet, etc. With some experimentation, the right wand was selected... the "seat riser" eliminated...the positioning of the wand was corrected...the flow of water reduced to one click on and maybe one or two more clicks (but not full strength)...and usefulness was the result. I would encourage new users to approach this with optimism and an attitude of "I know I'll have a learning curve" outlook. Good product. Hope it has longevity.
Thank you, Rick! There is a small learning curve at first, similar to setting up and using a home bidet. It’s something new and a little different- nothing like it. We’re glad you were able to figure it out and that it’s working well for you. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your review!
Good! Simple enough to replace and feels a lot stronger, and the included replacement adhesive was great as well, given mine had heavy wear (maybe this is something that could be sold separately as well?).
So far the new assembly is working without any drag. So I'm happily using my bidet again. :)
