The Traveler by Portabidets Is Fully Funded on Kickstarter

When we launched our first-ever product, The Traveler by Portabidets, on Kickstarter, we weren’t sure what to expect. We knew we had something special — a real, toilet-mounted travel bidet that brings home-level clean wherever you go — but we didn’t know how the world would respond.

Well, you showed up. Big time.

Thanks to the support of our amazing backers, we successfully funded our campaign and sold out our first run of over 1,500 units!

Wait, What Is Portabidets?

We created The Traveler because, frankly, nothing like it existed.

We were tired of the weak, leaky, handheld bottle sprayers being passed off as “portable bidets.” We wanted a bidet that actually works — attaches to the toilet, has real water pressure, and doesn’t feel like a camping hack.

So we built one.

It’s compact, rechargeable, easy to pack, and installs on standard toilets in hotels, Airbnbs, RVs, and more — in less than 60 seconds. If you’ve ever traveled and missed your bidet… this is for you.

From Idea to Reality

The idea came from real-life frustration. As the founders of Zacuto (a company that builds pro film gear), we were traveling constantly. But using "portable bidets" available didn't work for us-  they are messy, hard to use, didn't get the right spot, not enough water, the list goes on and on. 

So we used our product design experience to create something totally new. We prototyped it, tested it, obsessed over every detail… and then brought it to life through Kickstarter.

What’s Next?

Our first round of production is in motion, and units are shipping in August 2025 to our early backers. 🚚
